The first painting in the series of the chakras represented by things in nature
Root= Human Anatomy
Using the traditional 4 point geometry of the root chakra, this painting is made of different anatomical structures in the physical human body: skeletal muscle, vertebrae, hair follicle, taste buds, mammary glands, and microvilli of the small intestine; all elements which are indicative of a living, surviving physical being.

Third installment in the series of chakras represented by things in nature
Using the 6 point geometry of the sacral chakra, whose element is water, I wanted to incorporate elements from some of the more slithery creatures. The serpent element represents the darker, more intense side of sensuality, while the sea creature aspects bring in a more fluid expression. It is a sacred dance of primal physical expression.
