All butterflies symbolize change and transformation. When they set off on their great annual migration, monarch butterflies don’t know where they are going and they don’t know where they will end up – but they undertake the migration anyway. Monarchs symbolize strength and endurance, and they represent an indomitable spirit and the will to continue in the face of all adversity. If you are going through a big change in your life and a monarch butterfly appears, it can be a message to tell you not to worry and to embrace the change. You need to have faith in what you are doing, even if you don’t see the results – because what you do now will bear fruit in the long run.
